‘Alison is blessed with a sense of “radicalness” of colour that infuses all of her artwork. A “colourist,” she uses a palette knife and brushwork to create design elements in a natural setting that explore the artistic realm between abstraction and reality. Her art is deceptively simple and straightforward: eye~pleasing composition, dollops of underlying texture and, above all else, vibrant and stunning colour.’

Alison works out of her studio in the burgeoning village of Wellington West. There you can find her working on large showy poppy painting, thick textured landscapes and the popular ‘Wall of H’arts’. Please visit her at her studio to see more of her work at 1395B Wellington St.W.
