As a lifetime artist, Janie Jaehyun Park would describe her artwork as “a stylized representationalism, reflecting her state of mind”. As her mind wanders through life, something will capture her eyes’ attention and she can not look away. It is usually something that tells her a story. Her creation begins when she reflects on her feelings in that moment of transfixion. Sometimes her work radiates rich and vibrant colors and sometimes it has a strong focal point with a limited color palette, but always with a striking composition.
